August 2nd. “Cool Down”
I decided to go back to last December for today’s submission since we are heating up here in the Midwest. We had a high of 96 today and over the weekend and the first part of next week they are calling for 98 with the heat index in the 100’s. I took this on our deck last winter; it is a Northern Flicker Woodpecker. There favorite food is poison ivy berries.
