TUeltzen > June 1st. “Under the Boardwalk”
We found this little guy living under the bridge at the World Bird Sanctuary.
TUeltzen > June 2nd. Mrs. Robin
This Robin was busy building a nest in the tree in our front yard last weekend. We think she was busy lining the inside with mud. She would land in it then she would go around in circles working her rear end and she turned. Hopefully she will raise a brood in it.
TUeltzen > June 3rd. “Just Passing Through”
I was trying to get this little bird in the tree then it flew over to this fence and waited for me to snap a couple shots. Not sure what kind of bird it is.
TUeltzen > June 4th. “Sailing”
I went out to the lake at the city park hoping to get some shots of the GBH, he was sitting in the shadows just taking it easy so I moved on. I found this man playing with his model sailboat so I got a couple shots of it before he left. I sets the boat in the lake and then walks around with a stick pushing it back out when it runs into shore. The wind was blowing so hard yesterday that it kept laying it over on its side. I hope to get some better picture of it in the future.
TUeltzen > June 5th Killdeer
I was down at the river front when I spotted this Killdeer in the parking lot. I tried to get close enough for a shot. About the time I got where I wanted to be it took off and started flying over the river so I tried shooting it in flight. Not a real good shot but it was the best I could get. I made a big crop to get it big enough see.
TUeltzen > June 6th. Downy Woodpecker
I haven’t been out much lately to take pictures so I had to go through some older files to find one. I shot this Downy Woodpecker last March in our back yard.
TUeltzen > June 7th. “Mr. Blue Bird”
Took this last March at Route 66 State Park in Eureka Missouri.
TUeltzen > June 8th. “Canadian”
Took this last March by Alton on some back water of the Mississippi River.
TUeltzen > June 9th. Pear Tree Bloom
Our phone line is down at home so we are with out internet so I’m uploading today’s and the two previous day’s from work. Once our internet is working again at home I will look at all the "Daily Photos".
This is from our neighbor’s pear tree.
TUeltzen > June 10th. Mr. Rabbit
Took this in the back yard yesterday.
TUeltzen > June 11th. Dodge vs. Ford
Of course Dodge won!
Our friends got us and there selves these yard ornaments. They decided to play a little joke on me and this was our response. My wife came up with the idea so I give her the credit. This went on for the better part of the week while we where on vacation.
TUeltzen > June 12 “Pre Dawn Fog”
I finally got around to getting my “Daily Photos” up to date.
I took this morning while waiting for Molly.
I know a lot of people don’t care for a fence in this kind of picture but I do. I think it helps anchor the shot, what do you think?
Thanks for looking.
TUeltzen > June 13th. “Willard”
This is Willard he is a Red Tail Hawk that lives at the World Bird Sanctuary in St.Louis. My wife adopted him for me for Christmas last year. I had no idea what she had done so I was really excited.
TUeltzen > June 26th. Trumpet Creeper
Sorry I haven’t been around lately. We have been really busy. I shot my first wedding last Saturday so I have been really busy with that. I’m still working on the pictures but I have started placing some of them on my site so if you have time and if you want to take a look and let me know what you think I would appreciate the comments.
This is a Trumpet Creeper we planted in our back yard about 10 years ago and this is the first season it has bloomed.
TUeltzen > June 28th. Day Lilies
I got a new Canon 430 flash last week to shot the wedding with. I was playing around with it trying to learn more of what I can do with it. I dialed the output down by one stop for this shot but the flowers where still really bright so I turned the brightness down some more.
